Maryland New Directions (MND) is a 53-year-old award winning 501(c)(3) non-profit organization offering no-cost employment coaching and specialized career training programs for Baltimore area residents, ages 18 years of age and over. MND works with an average of 300 unemployed and underemployed motivated individuals each year, most of whom face obstacles finding a job, advancing with their current employer, or establishing a new career.
Our holistic approach and valuable employer partnerships create the opportunity for long-term careers with outcomes that include industry recognized credentials, a living wage, and an impressive average employment retention rate of 82.5% (1 yr) for our graduates.
