Career Focus: Career counseling and award-winning job readiness
training program helps unemployed and underemployed gain the tools they
need for a successful entry into self-sustaining employment.
Self-sufficiency promoted through individual life management and career counseling, as well as job preparation workshops. About 75 percent of program graduates obtain employment and/or higher education after three months. |

Second Chance: Baltimoreās first gender specific re-entry program to
assist previously incarcerated women to overcome barriers and become
employed through career-minded approaches by assisting individuals to
identify career paths and explore employment opportunities. Men and women have access to rapid employment, job readiness training, mentoring, individual counseling, and education and skill training. Wraparound services and drug counseling are important program components. |

Literacy : Adult literacy classes in math and reading and preparation for the General Educational Development (GED) through small groups and tutoring. |

Literacy: Computer skills training
in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Essential instruction and access
to the use of the Internet for career exploration, job search, and e-mail
accounts. Ten-week Microsoft Office applications helps low-income clients
gain skills to enter new occupations and increase hourly
wages.

| Career New Directions: An
innovative fee-based program providing career assessments and barrier
management workshops to organizations like Morgan State University and the
Baltimore City Department of Social Services. Services include career and
personality assessment, professional counseling and workshops, computer
skill trainings, Employment Assistance Programs and outplacement services.
These customized services are available to individuals, corporations and
nonprofit organizations. |
