Founded in 1973 as Baltimore New Directions for Women, the 35 year-old agency has helped more than 130,000 clients make positive, employment related life changes.

Our Accomplishments & Ongoing Efforts

• Served 130,000 Maryland residents in our 35 years of service
• Offer 500+ counseling sessions, 20 computer literacy courses, and 120 career workshops at low or no cost to Baltimore residents a year
• Annually, 250-350 disadvantaged individuals receive career counseling and job training, 70% of job seekers successfully employed
• Provide comprehensive career services to more than 100 ex-offenders a year, 65% successfully obtain employment
