Support Maryland New Directions'
Return To Confidence Campaign!
There are many phrases that participants use to describe the impact of training at Maryland New Directions. Yet, one that we hear over and over again is: “MND helped me get my confidence back and now I truly believe that I can find work.”
Many frustrated job seekers attest to the transformational power of MND’s training experience, its ability to help them feel fully prepared and empowered to not only seek work, but to find and keep it!
While this may seem like a small matter some, those facing the plight of joblessness have a keen understanding of the power of confidence, recognizing it as the “it factor” missing in their previous searches.
This essential thing called confidence might be difficult to quantify, but it holds the power to launch life in a new and hopeful trajectory, what we fondly refer to as “A New Direction.”
WHAT YOUR DONATION MEANS:
Every dollar donated to MND is directly applied to providing job skills training to disadvantaged job seekers, services that result in a changed life. For over 44 years, MND participants have gained the support, knowledge, skills, and certifications that instill the confidence needed to succeed in the job market. MND’s award winning training programs immediately improve quality of life and lay a foundation for future success, for both individuals and their families. Our services include: dynamic, industry specific, hard skills training; soft skill, job readiness instruction; specialized, post-secondary, occupational certifications; transportation assistance to access trainings and job interviews; as well as professional clothing to make sure job seekers are prepared to put their best foot forward – and all of this is provided at no cost to participants!
Every day, we are working hard to eliminate the barriers that hinder our participants from becoming gainfully employed, and you can be part of the support and solution! Here’s a breakdown of what you donation provides:
