Maryland New Directions is a 41-year-old non-profit organization offering no-cost career counseling and job search skills training. We assist low-income Baltimore City residents, 21-60 years of age entering or re-entering the workforce through a range of training services such as:
Maryland New Directions works with over 300 motivated job-seekers each year, most of whom face significant obstacles in finding a job or establishing a new career. Our program's holistic and motivating approach gets measurable results through continuous training, coaching and support, building the confidence of individuals to overcome their obstacles and obtain employment.
When a person successfully completes Maryland New Directions' program they leave empowered to obtain and retain employment; it's good not just for the individual and his or her family, but for the whole community.
